Dear Colleague IMPLEMENTING REFORMS TO SPECIALIST DENTAL TRAINING 1. This letter is to notify the service that the Specialist Registrar grade was introduced in the specialties of Oral Pathology, Oral Microbiology and Dental and Maxillofacial Dental Radiology on 1 June 2000. 2.. The transitional period in the Specialty of Oral Medicine ended on that date. 3. This information should be brought to the attention of all those who need to be involved to ensure that they can implement the changes as necessary. 4. The commissioning of the specialties mentioned above brings to an end the transition to the Specialist Registrar grade in the dental specialties. Yours sincerely GERRY MARR
