Description
Some parents’ religion or beliefs mean they will want their male child to be circumcised as soon as possible after birth. NHS Scotland has developed a pathway to make sure that circumcision can take place once it is clinically safe to do so, i.e. no sooner than age 6 months and, ideally, no later than age 9 months.
