Description
1. This circular provides a link to the 2020/21 Statement of Financial Entitlements (SFE) for GMS Contractors and replaces the 2019/20 Statement of Financial Entitlements.
2. This revised SFE has been agreed with BMA (SGPC) to meet the needs of the response to the coronavirus outbreak. A revised SFE will be negotiated and issued at the end of the outbreak.
3. The main changes to the previous SFE are the doubling of the weekly limit for GP locum reimbursement for sickness, the removal of the cap on how many sessions GP retainers can work, and no new study leave reimbursement claims.
4. The SFE introduces a process for paying GP practices for additional work caused by the coronavirus outbreak as well as arrangements for working the April and May Public Holidays.
