Description
This circular authorises changes in the pay and national terms and conditions of service of all NHS employed staff detailed in the heading above.
The Scottish Government has confirmed a 4% uplift to basic pay across NHS medical and dental staff as detailed in this circular.
Details of the pay uplift for Resident Doctors and Dentists in Training will be promulgated in an addendum to this circular.
The value of distinction awards for consultants remain unchanged. National salary scales, fees and allowances, where applicable, will increase from 1 April 2025.
The value of Discretionary Points for Consultants will increase by 4%
