Description
This letter advises of further changes to the routine childhood vaccination schedule coming into effect from 1 January 2026.
These changes see the introduction of a varicella (chickenpox) vaccination programme into the childhood immunisation schedule, together with a catch up element, following expert advice from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) published in November 2023.
