Nifedipine (Adipine® XL) 30mg and 60mg modified-release tablets are out of stock until the end of January 2026.
Alternative brands of nifedipine 30mg and 60mg modified-release tablets remain available, but only some can support increased demand, including Adanif® XL 30mg and 60mg modified-release tablets and Neozipine® XL 30mg modified-release tablets.
Nifedipine (Coracten® XL) 30mg and 60mg modified-release capsules remain available and can support increased demand.
UK-wide Serious Shortage Protocols (SSP) for Adipine® XL 30mg and 60mg tablets were issued on 19/12/2025. Please refer to PCA(P)(2025)27 and PCA(P)(2025)28 for further information.
