Description
This circular authorises changes in the pay and national terms and conditions of service of all NHS employed staff detailed in the heading above.
The Scottish Government has confirmed a 3.5% uplift to basic pay across NHS medical and dental staff as detailed in this circular.
It has also confirmed a 3.75% uplift to dentists in Public Health Medicine and the Community Health Service, and Public Dental Service staff.
The value of distinction awards for consultants remain unchanged. National salary scales, fees and allowances, where applicable, will increase from 1 April 2026.
The value of Discretionary Points for Consultants will remain unchanged.
